To be honest with all the rain, this kinda snuck up on me, whilst I have not done a reccy, I did do this ride fairly regularly in the early days and with the current road closures locally it is a safe and easy ride, so weather permitting this ride will be ok.
- First stop will be Beaudesert for a leg stretch only outside the servo, this is only 60 klms so I doubt anyone will need fuel but stranger things have happened.
- Second stop will be the Dugandan Hotel (NOT the DUG and DAN Hotel ask anyone in the club who knows) at Boonah, this stop I do for those with a short fuel range, whilst the rest of us have a quick drink you can pop into the BP at Boonah and fill up, at this point we will have only covered 100klms.
- Next stop will be our lunch stop, the Royal Hotel at Harrisville( ask Paul Jacobs how good the food here is) , at this point we will have covered a total of 130klms, it’s nice easy riding and a nice old pub that I am sure many are familiar with that we can relax on the deck and have lunch.
- After lunch if anyone is interested, we will make our way back to the Beaudesert Hotel for last drinks, we will at this point have covered a total of 185klms and as most know there is fuel in Beaudesert if you need it, the ride concludes here.
I should mention that if anyone is not sure of how to get home from Beaudesert, please come and see me, we will buddy you up with someone and get you home.
